When To Plant App Reviews

We moved out of state and have a completely different climate now. Sadly no way to update this on the app :(

My favorite part about this app is that you can sort the crops in multiple ways. Its so nice to be able to see just the list of crops that can be planted now in my exact area. I can already tell that Im going to use this app a lot throughout the growing season.

I can see myself using this app a lot. Only thing Ive found wrong is the temperature and precipitation maps are switched in the weather section. Other than that, amazing info for everyone.

I broke all my app buying rules when I go this. It had not been rated and it costs more than a dollar. Im so glad I did. What a wonderful planting resource. Thanks! In the future I hope you make crop info e-mailable.

I love being able to view planting times by the month, at a glance! Easy app to learn, information on plants is an added bonus!

I marked my favorite plants and now the app crashes every time I try to open it. Waaaaaaah! Hurry and fix! My garden is waiting!

This app was great and well worth the $2 until it unexpectedly crashed and subsequently will not open without crashing. Aside from the crash issue, this app was very useful and informative. Will definitely come back and increase my rating once the crash issue is resolved.

After I select favorite crops it crashes or just shuts down on my iPod touch and ipad3

Thank you for the update! No more crashes. This is a great and much needed resource. Well worth the $2 now that the bugs have been worked out.

I bought this not realizing its just for planting vegetables. I thought it was all plants!

I bought this app thinking we could use it for house plants, outdoor plants, and bushes in our landscaping, not all vegetables, herbs, and fruits only!

Great app! Well worth the $1.99. I love the feature that allows you to see what can be planted right now and when you can expect to harvest! The maps are nice too!

Freezes up after address entry cant get into it to properly rate

The very first time I started this app it froze (irony) in the frost dates page, & cant reopen with anything but that page. I love Mother Earth but I dont like apps that waste my time & money.

It refuses to open once a day or two. Have to delete and reload. This loses any favorites you have entered, which is the only thing you can do other than read. Not worth the two bucks. I will look for a free alternative. I wish I could get my money back!

None of the crashing problems others report. Hope to see updates that add plants. Perhaps the developer could call Johnnys Seeds for additional varieties of things. Sweet app!

This is a great app; so simple and handy! I love that it shows me indoor and outdoor planting dates as well as expected harvest periods. My only complaint is that the two colors for outdoor planting dates and harvest dates look identical to me as a colorblind person. It does help somewhat that theyre on separate lines but some other, colorblind friendly combination would be a big improvement. Thanks!!!

This app covers a basic variety of fruit, herbs and vegetables. Like the first-last frost info for my zone. Covers basic planting guides. Cannot find how to edit favorites.

I like this app generally. There are some bugs. What bothers me the most is the lack of iPhone 5 support. Please update this app.

"Where are the house plants?” "Waste of money” really? you don’t plant house plants, you pot them, and you could do it anytime. read the description before you buy, it’s pretty clear. even if you do pull the trigger and blow LESS THAN TWO DOLLARS, you don’t need to take it out on the developer with your petty, uniformed review.
